Pablo, originally from Uruguay and currently 36, began his IT journey at 18, though his fascination with computers started much earlier. At just 7, when his parents bought him his first PC (running DOS and later Windows 3.11), he was eager to explore the world of games like most of children do now but in that moment IT context was not the same. To play games, he first taught himself the basics, and later tackled more advanced concepts, picking up a wide range of skills along the way. For example, by the age of 12, he was experimenting with networking; when ethernet cards became available in Uruguay, he set up a LAN to play games (like “GTA 1”, “starcraft 1”, etc), with friends in the same building—a unique setup that connected friends on different floors and remained the building’s only LAN for years. He’s always enjoyed tackling new challenges and constantly seeks to expand his knowledge.

Years later, Pablo co-founded Iron Platform with two old friends: Guillermo and Alberto. Since that moment he led the IT Department, contributing to initiatives that improve processes through tailored tech solutions. His interest in application and website development has allowed him to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, creating IT tools to boost efficiency. He has mainly worked with open-source technologies throughout his career, making the most of these tools in each project.

Pablo holds a degree in Programming Analyst from ORT University in Montevideo. Over his 15+ years in the field, he’s taken on roles such as full-stack developer, project manager, and functional analyst. His experience includes Linux server administration, cloud virtualization, and hybrid app development, particularly with IONIC, NodeJs, Capacitor, Angular, and CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal.

His work has spanned organizations like UdelaR, D.A.T.A Uy, CSIC, and VUCE, and he currently provides IT support for VoIP and analog telecommunications at ANP through a partnership with Telefax S.A.

Pablo has also had the opportunity to live and work in several countries across Latin America, Europe, and Asia (Vietnam), enriching his IT skills through exposure to diverse work environments and problem-solving approaches.
